Ukraine has been able to create a new laser weapon. The weapon has been reportedly named ‘Tryzub’ and can fire lasers which can cause major damage and fire to any place located more than 12 miles away. Ukraine’s defence forces have stated that the weapon has already been tested many times and have proven to be extremely effective.
In fact, they are now confident that they can combat Russia in a better way by using this weapon. The Ukrainian forces have stated that this laser weapon will be able to shoot down and obliterate any aircraft in the sky even if it is very far away. This means that Ukraine might finally be able to combat aerial troops from Russia which have been bombing the streets of Ukraine ever since the war began.
However, there are some problems with this weapon as stated by some Ukrainian scientists. They stated that the weapon might find it hard to shoot down very fast vehicles which might not even be moving in a straight path. It also has not become developed enough to destroy ballistic missiles and artillery shells which are extremely resistant to heat. In fact, this weapon might find it hard to fully destroy anything that is heat resistant although it can still burn their outer portions.
The Russian forces and the President however, are stating that Ukraine does not possess any such weapon. In fact, they do not believe that Ukraine can produce such a weapon of mass destruction since the President apparently believes that Russia is superior to Ukraine in every way. However, several pieces of evidence, including the pictures of this weapon’s latest and only model shows otherwise. Hence, Ukraine might find a chance to score a victory against Russia if it tries hard.

Laser weapons are not a thing of science fiction anymore. In fact, the USA currently has three laser weapons that are highly effective in destroying anything in their path on the ground or even on air. Three more are being developed by the USA for usage. Russia itself has two extremely powerful laser weapons while other nations like India have also developed their own weapons as well.
However, Ukraine being able to create such a weapon is something nobody could have expected. In fact, it can be possible that Ukraine actually is able to fight a fair battle against Russia if it has such a weapon at its disposal. If the war becomes too ugly, then other nations like the USA might join Ukraine’s side and give them more solar weapons as well as soldiers. All of this shows that even though the battle will now be a much fairer one especially for Ukraine, more lives and properties will be destroyed. However, a futuristic sci-fi war which we have seen in movies and anime will become a reality which is sad if you think about it logically.
