What Problems is Sanju Facing?
Sanju Samson has been facing criticism from fellow cricketers and fans alike for his poor batting performance. Most fans complained that the cricketer was not concentrating enough while batting. However, many others said that such inconsistencies in performance happen to almost every cricketer and Sanju is not an exception.
However, recently, the cricketer’s father said that the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) is conspiring against him. He said that Sanju is not being given proper attention and training by the members of this group due to internal politics. Now the news media have not been able to know what sort of politics Sanju’s father is talking about.
However, Congress member Shashi Tharoor is also saying the same thing about Sanju’s downfall. He is saying that the Kerala Cricket Association has certain members who are infamous for playing politics and favoritism by promoting rather talentless people in exchange of money and not allowing those with actual talent to be in the limelight.
The Kerala Cricket Association, however, has denied all of these claims. The main members of this association have stated that Sanju is not performing well due to his own fault. They further stated that the cricketer is not being serious and sincere about his career and is often skipping training and doing rather useless things in his past time. But the cricketer’s father remains stern in his claims.
He says that the association’s members play too much politics and favoritism and so are not allowing Sanju to rejoin the Indian team or even play for domestic matches. He further said that senior cricketer Rahul Dravid had also said the same thing to the media and Sanju as well. In fact, he says that without Mr. Dravid’s support Sanju might not have been able to see what being successful and famous looks like.

As of now it is not clear as to what problems are being faced by Sanju Samson. The cricketer himself has not opened up much to the media while his father is supportive towards him. Statements by people like Shashi Tharoor might indeed prove that the Kerala Cricket Association is doing something wrong here.
But there is no clear evidence as to whether the association is indeed to be blamed. Sanju himself has faced competition from other fellow players like KL Rahul when it comes to becoming a batsman. In fact, he received poor reception in comparison to many others in the Indian cricket team when it comes to batting.
