The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyuh has said that the Hamas terrorists still have many Israeli citizens held captive. The Prime Minister further stated that the nation cannot declare a ceasefire until and unless the hostages are freed which is something the terrorist group has not done yet.
As per the Israeli government, the nation has provided all the terms and conditions necessary for declaring a ceasefire. But the terrorist group is not complying with any of the agreements. In fact, it has not stated the names of the people who are held captive by it.
On the other hand, however, the Israeli forces have set almost every Palestinian person whom it had held captive as a part of the agreement. But this has not happened from Palestine’s side. This is causing tensions to rise among both nations. In fact, the Israeli Prime Minister has said that it has every right to fight Palestine and destroy it if the latter does not free its citizens.
However, many sources are stating that the Israeli Prime Minister is doing all this just to fulfill his bloodlust. In fact, the military leaders of Hamas are stating that it is Netanyuh who is to be blamed for this situation since he himself is not providing enough accommodations to free his citizens and take them to a safe place. It is also being reported that both Israel and Hamas have the same ambition and that is to take over the Gaza strip and make it a part of their own country.
However, it can be said that both nations are wrong in their attempts to fulfil this ambition. In fact, both nations are also instigating common people to fight one another as well. This has been seen from instances where Palestinian men and women have shot or stabbed those from Israel and vice versa.
