Have you ever seen the web series “Breaking Bad” where the protagonist is forced to change from a simple man to a violent person because of someone else’s actions? What if I tell you that India is in a similar position. And the main instigator in this case is none other than Bangladesh.
Yes, Bangladesh, the small country which found liberation and a new identity because of India is now wanting to be its enemy. And it has all started out of a desire for more power and a potentially extremist Islamic rule. India has tried its best to keep ties with this country good. But things are about to fall apart real hard.
Why is Bangladesh Speaking Against India?
Bangladesh has always been a nation where people from all religions live peacefully with each other despite it being an Islamic republic. However, in recent times, the people of this nation have expressed great dissatisfaction against Sheikh Hasina’s rule. They accused her of using divisive strategies and promoting more inequality. All this ultimately led to her being forced to leave Bangladesh.
After leaving Bangladesh, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had offered shelter to Sheikh Hasina for some time. This angered the Bangladeshi public and most leaders who are currently in power there are speaking actively against India.
Even though Sheikh Hasina was removed from her position due to questionable politics, most Muslims in Bangladesh are now targeting minority groups. This includes people from all other religions, especially Hindus. In fact, in recent times, there have been many footage shown by news channels where Hindu families were brutally tortured and killed by Muslims. And the ones who have not been targeted are living in fear.
The Indian Prime Minister has criticized such actions and has said that India is ready to give shelter and protection to all the Hindus who are being attacked in Bangladesh. The Chief Advisor or the Bangladesh government Md. Yunus is denying all these events and saying that no harm has been caused to Hindu minorities here. However, images and videos of temple vandalizations and many other crimes against Hindu commoners is proving something else entirely.
Because of this, most leaders in Bangladesh are now saying that they are ready to go to war against India if it is necessary. In fact, many low level politicians are calling to ban Indian products and are also saying that they would rather go to Pakistan for medical purposes. Instances of the Indian flag being insulted have also been reported with videos of such instances going viral on the internet.
Despite meetings by the Indian representatives in Dhaka, the violence against Hindus is continuing. Warnings about attacking Kolkata and regions near the Bangladesh border have also been issued by most leaders of this country as well. All this shows that India might soon have to take up arms against this country.
What Might Happen in The Future
Many rumours are being spread by anonymous online sources that Bangladesh is actually building new ties with Pakistan and China. In fact, it is also being said that all this violence is happening due to Pakistan and some probably terrorist groups helping some political leaders to achieve a Sharia rule.
As of now, there is no solid proof about these claims. In fact, it might be possible that the Indian government is not releasing such news in order to prevent ordinary people from panicking. However, if these claims are true then war is really on the horizon for India. And under Narendra Modi’s leadership, India will not be soft at all upon its enemies. In fact, with wars happening in many other regions currently, India might also enter into this war against more than one nation. This will ultimately lead to a full scale third world war.
