Saif Ali Khan is a respected Hindi Movie actor. He also belongs from a rich family as well with parents who were both celebrities. He is also married to Kareena Kapoor who is one of the most successful Indian actresses and his daughter Sara Ali Khan is also an emerging icon. However, despite having the most perfect life, Mr. Saif suddenly got a massive shock in the form of an incident. Let us see what had happened to him.
What Happened to Saif Ali Khan?
Mr. Saif Ali Khan was sleeping soundly around 3 am on 15th January, 2025. He was alone in his apartment in Bandra since his wife and children were away for a while. Only his maid was present in the house.
Around this time, an intruder suddenly entered the apartment by climbing on the pipes next to the apartment. The person was a masked individual who broke through the apartment’s windows in order to steal money and valuables. Mr. Saif’s maid was the one who suddenly woke up upon hearing footsteps and glass breaking.
Upon seeing the robber trying to break cases in order to steal things, she intervened and tried to stop the person. However, the person, who has been identified as a man by the police, had a knife with which he attacked the maid. She cried out in pain after suffering injuries on her arm. All this chaos woke up Mr. Khan who immediately spotted the burglar in front of him.
Mr. Khan then bravely tried to fight the robber and subdue him. However, the person was present there with a readiness to kill and attacked him with the knife. Although at first, Mr. Saif got some minor injuries on his arm and neck, the robber stabbed him on his back directly on the spinal cord. This caused a lot of commotion in the apartment which caused nearby people to come out of their rooms as well. Seeing this the robber quickly fled from the scene by running on the emergency staircase.
Upon hearing this news, Mr. Saif’s son Ibrahim quickly came to his aid and admitted him to the nearest hospital. The doctors have pulled out the knife and stopped the bleeding. However, they might take some time to repair the damage on his spinal cord.
Latest Update On the Case
As per the latest reports, the person who stabbed Mr. Saif has been arrested by Bandra police. The police have not revealed much information about the person’s name, age or where they live. However, they did say that the man was not alone and was accompanied by some people who were present outside the apartment.
Some people have been spreading rumors that this is a hate-filled attack since many Hindutva supporters were not liking that Saif Ali Khan named his son Taimur. However, the police have confirmed that this is not the case and Mr. Khan maintains friendly ties and support with all political groups and has also not done anything to disrespect Hindus. However, it is yet to be confirmed as to whether the intent of the attacker was to indeed rob Mr. Khan or something else. The police have also not said anything about how many individuals were involved in this act as well.
The police however, are suspecting that this might be the act of drug addicted individuals who just wanted some fame by robbing a celebrity. They are also suspecting that this might have to do something regarding the people Mr. Khan has to deal within the Indian movie industry. This is possible since the Hindi movie industry is known for celebrities having rivalries with one another.
Mr. Khan’s neighbors including actress Karishma Tanna have also stated as to how the security of their apartment complex is too weak and neglectful towards the security of people living there. All this shows that the lives of bollywood celebrities might be at stake with criminals targeting them.
