After Donald Trump’s massive entry into the office as the President, a debate is raging in the USA. The debate centers around deciding who is the better President among Trump and Joe Biden. This debate has started after many people criticized Donald Trump over his questionable foreign policies. So let us see who is actually the better President.
A Comparison Between Donald Trump and Joe Biden
Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden faced good and bad instances during their tenures. For example, Donald Trump faced Metoo accusations before the Covid-19 pandemic. However, all of the accusations were found false and were ways to tarnish his image.
Despite this, Donald Trump was always very impulsive and straightforward. His policies, especially regarding taxes, were not favorable for common people. In fact, people often called him a madman and a corporate stooge.
People called Trump a corporate bootlicker mainly because he favored letting the rich grow richer. However, he was still able to help common people in the USA to get jobs and earn a living. But he was not impartial and favored to ensure opportunities for white or black Americans only. This caused him to get a lot of negative attention as well.
Donald Trump also failed to manage the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic as well. His inability to deal with health insurance scams in the USA caused people to get angry at him. He also did not want to get vaccines from Russia and India until it was too late. As a result, people decided to vote for Joe Biden.
The Presidency under Joe Biden claimed to be much more sympathetic towards Americans and immigrants alike. Mr. Biden claimed to have a much more peaceful approach towards handling domestic and foreign affairs. However, his so-called peaceful approaches caused more problems for the USA.
An example of this is the increase in crime rates by 50% during Mr. Biden’s term. This happened since he did not do anything to stop illegal Mexican and Muslim immigrants from entering the USA. As a result, violent crimes committed by such people caused the US to become unsafe. Racial hate crimes between people of different communities also increased during this time.
Joe Biden also faced pedophilia accusations by many sources. People felt that he did not care about his country due to his support towards Palestine and Ukraine. The job market also did not experience any major rise during his time. Instead inflation increased due to Mr. Biden’s policies.
Joe Biden also caused Afghanistan’s Taliban takeover by withdrawing American forces. This caused many critics to call him a coward. However, Donald Trump does not back away from fights. You can see this by his attitude towards Ukraine and Palestine whom he would like to fight.
A common fact about both Presidents is that inflation had happened during their terms. Both of them also faced many criminal charges as well. However, Donald Trump’s charges charges were false. But this is still unclear in the case of Joe Biden.
Despite all this, you can say that Donald Trump is very straightforward and does not want to put his country in danger. However, his aggressive policies show a lack of intelligence. On the other hand, Joe Biden might be more intelligent but lacked common sense. This is because he was busy helping other countries instead of his own.
Concluding Statements
Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are good and bad Presidents at the same time. Your decision as to who is the best among them might depend on your political beliefs. However, Joe Biden was able to increase the USA’s GDP by 8%. Mr. Trump was able to increase it by 6% only due to the pandemic suddenly striking. However, he could have done it better if things were in his favor.
You can conclude that both presidents have had their own ups and downs. They also had their own good and bad moments. But Trump wants to make the USA powerful and secure while Biden did not have such concerns.
